Life Flight Network adding helicopter base

Life Flight Network (Oregon) will be opening a new helicopter base in Kelso, WA in September.
Life Flight (DesMoines, IA) recently took delivery of a new EC 145 helicopter. However, according to this article, the new aircraft with 'advanced technololgy that allows it to fly in rain, snow, and at night' won't be actually used until next summer.

A hospital in Ludington, MI has closed its roof-top helipad, forcing EMS helicopters to land at a local airport instead. The change came after the rooftop crash of a medical helicopter in Grand Rapids, MI in May.
